Shibaura Machine TVM Series
The Shibaura Machine TVM series comprises three six-axis articulated robots, TVM900, TVM1200 and TVM1500, with reach from 1,142 to 1,726 mm and maximum payloads from 10 to 20 kg.
The TVM series offers three arm lengths on one platform. The TVM900 reaches 1,142 mm with 20 kg maximum payload, the TVM1200 1,432 mm with 15 kg and the TVM1500 1,726 mm with 10 kg; rated payload is 5 kg on all. Composite speed rises with reach, to 12 m/s on the longest arm. Repeatability is ±0.05 mm. Shibaura stresses high allowable inertia with a light body; the robots weigh 122 to 131 kg. A linear axis can extend the work area, and a 3D vision bin-picking package is offered.
