Shibaura Machine TVL700
The Shibaura Machine TVL700 is a compact six-axis articulated robot with a 700 mm arm, 801 mm reach, 4 kg maximum payload and ±0.03 mm repeatability, weighing 31 kg.
The TVL700 is designed to be easy to fit into a cell. Tap holes on the arm and a T-groove on the first arm take tools, cables and DIN rails, the base can be mounted sideways, and controller cabling can exit through the base. It reaches 801 mm, carries 4 kg, or 5 kg pointing downwards, and completes a standard cycle in about 0.4 s with ±0.03 mm repeatability. At 31 kg and 1.5 kVA it is light and frugal, and an IP65 option protects it from dust and drips. It won a Machine Design Award.
