Shibaura Machine THE600
The Shibaura Machine THE600 is a four-axis SCARA robot with a 600 mm arm, a maximum payload of 12 kg, a standard cycle time of 0.31 s and repeatability of ±0.01 mm.
The THE600 combines speed with an unusually high payload for a 600 mm SCARA. It carries up to 12 kg, rated 2 kg, and completes the standard cycle in 0.31 s, with a composite speed of 8,000 mm/s. Repeatability is ±0.01 mm in X-Y and Z and ±0.005° on the rotary axis, which is tight for the class. The 31 kg robot runs on the networked TS5000 controller, and options include ceiling mounting, a hollow spline shaft, bellows and camera brackets. Vertical stroke is a modest 210 mm, or 150 mm with the EMS controller.
