Shibaura Machine THE400
The Shibaura Machine THE400 is a compact four-axis SCARA robot with a 400 mm arm, 5 kg maximum payload, 0.39 s standard cycle time and ±0.01 mm repeatability, weighing 15 kg.
The THE400 packs the series' precision into a 15 kg robot. It reaches 400 mm, carries up to 5 kg, rated 1 kg, and completes the standard cycle in 0.39 s. Repeatability is ±0.01 mm in X-Y and Z and ±0.007° on the rotary axis. Vertical stroke is 160 mm. It works with four controllers, from the TSL3000 to the networked TS5000, and the option list is long: ceiling mounting (THE400-T), dust and splash protection, battery-less absolute encoders, camera brackets and a hollow spline shaft.
