SCHUNK SWS-001
The SCHUNK SWS-001 is a pneumatically locked quick-change system for robot tools with a maximum handling weight of 1.4 kg and a locking force of 170 N. It is designed for automatic tool changes on small robots and consists of a quick-change head on the robot and a quick-change adapter on the tool. Four M5 pneumatic feed-throughs supply the tool, and the coupling repeats to 0.01 mm. The quick-change head weighs 0.03 kg, withstands static moments of 2.8 Nm in Mx and My and 3.45 Nm in Mz, and runs on compressed air at 4.5 bar to 6.9 bar.
