SCHUNK EGP 40
The SCHUNK EGP 40 is an electric 2-finger parallel gripper for small components with a stroke of 6 mm per jaw, a gripping force of 35 N to 140 N and a recommended workpiece weight of 0.7 kg. It is designed for fast pick-and-place of small parts in assembly and electronics handling, and a speed version with 30 N gripping force closes in 0.06 s instead of 0.2 s. A brushless DC servomotor drives the jaws and the control electronics are integrated in the housing. The gripper weighs 0.32 kg, has protection class IP30, grips with a repeat accuracy of 0.02 mm and is controlled through digital I/O or IO-Link.
