Rockwell iTRAK 5730
The Rockwell Automation iTRAK 5730 is a small-frame intelligent track system with independently controlled movers, positioned for removing bottlenecks in machines.
iTRAK is Rockwell's independent cart technology, the Allen-Bradley counterpart of other intelligent tracks. The 5730 is the small-frame member, positioned for removing bottlenecks inside machines such as cartoners and pouch fillers, where a fixed-pitch chain limits speed and makes format changes slow. A larger model, the iTRAK 5750, is positioned for higher payloads. The main argument for iTRAK is integration: it is programmed in the same Logix environment as the rest of a Rockwell-controlled machine.
