QuickStep Integrated Stepper Motors

QuickStep Integrated Stepper Motors

The QuickStep series of Stepper motors with integrated electronics represents a major step forward. All the necessary electronics in a stepper system are integrated in the motor itself. The stepper motor, encoder and electronics are specially developed by JVL so that together they form a closed unit in which the power driver and controller are mounted inside the motor. The Basic QuickStep motor control modes includes: Pulse/direction input with optional Encoder output. Standard M12 connectors.

Review Summary

These QuickStep configurations are most useful to assess for an existing machine, a documented replacement or an integration that specifically requires their command interface. The main benefit is local drive integration. The main selection risk is confusing an M1 basic drive, an M5 programmable controller and a newer ServoStep motor because all use similar MIS family names.
