PI E-619 High-Power Piezo Amplifier
PI E-619 High-Power Piezo Amplifier
E-619 is a modular high-power amplifier for suitably specified piezo actuators. Its output range is−30 to 130 V, with 10 A and 1200 W peak values specified for intervals below 5 ms. PI distinguishes 20 kHz and 3 kHz small-signal amplifier versions. The unit drives a capacitive piezo load; it is not a 1200 W continuous motor drive.
Review Summary
Consider E-619 for high-dynamic piezo motion when actuator capacitance and waveform demand substantial current. Evaluate frequency, amplitude and duty against the actual load curves. Small-signal bandwidth does not establish full-voltage response into every piezo capacitance.
