This is the all-round PGV. It does three jobs with one camera: absolute positioning on Data Matrix code tape or tags, following a coloured lane tape, and reading control codes that trigger actions such as stopping or switching routes. Accuracy is ±0.2 mm at up to 8 m/s, with 25 scans per second and 60 ms latency, under white-blue LED lighting that tolerates 100,000 lux of ambient light. It connects over PROFINET with up to three switching outputs and is IP67. It is not a safety device; the safePGV covers that. Pepperl+Fuchs lists it at $2,832.
