Ocado OCADEX Robotic Arms
Ocado OCADEX robotic arm systems use computer vision, reinforcement learning and exchangeable vacuum or mechanical grippers to pick, pack and sort items, in On-Grid Robotic Pick and Robotic Sort Putwall configurations.
OCADEX arms work on top of the Ocado grid or stand-alone. On-Grid Robotic Pick identifies, picks and packs items from storage bins, packing densely while protecting delicate products. Robotic Sort Putwall lifts items to find barcodes and places them into putwall bins for parcel and e-commerce sortation. The arms use multiple sensors, computer vision and reinforcement learning, can pick without prior item knowledge, and share learning across a global cloud network. Grippers can be swapped between vacuum and mechanical.
