The Ocado Combine+Separate machine automatically inserts delivery containers into and removes them from storage bins, buffering picked orders inside the grid at up to 175 bin presentations per hour, for totes and RPCs up to 600 x 400 x 340 mm.
Combine+Separate nests delivery totes, cardboard totes or RPCs inside storage bins and removes them again, so finished orders can wait in the grid rather than on separate buffers or conveyors. Warehouse execution software sequences pre-picking, buffering and dispatch by route. It handles up to 175 bin presentations per hour with uptime above 99%, takes containers up to 600 x 400 x 340 mm through interchangeable manipulators, and measures 5.5 x 2 x 2.1 m at 1,500 kg, drawing 4.2 kW. It runs from +2 to +28 °C.
