NMB Standard PM Stepping Motors
NMB Standard PM Stepping Motors
NMB standard PM stepping motors use a permanent-magnet rotor and external phase excitation to produce discrete rotary movement. The family includes several diameters, body lengths and step-count choices for OEM feed and adjustment mechanisms. The motor name does not by itself identify a drive winding, feedback system or complete axis.
Review Summary
Consider the standard PM range for a printer, scanner, valve or similar compact mechanism whose loaded motion cycle suits a model-specific torque curve. Preserve diameter, body length, magnet, winding and step-count suffix in the selection. A maximum reference torque or a finer nominal step is not a complete performance specification.

Manufacturer-documented applications include printer and scanner mechanisms, flow-control valves and optical or related adjustment equipment. Treat the motor as an OEM component whose actual suitability depends on load, duty, electrical drive and mechanical integration.
