SKY RAV moves material above the factory instead of across it. Carriages run on ceiling rails, so the route is the shortest one and does not depend on what stands on the floor. Muratec states transport about ten times faster than conveyors. Carriages communicate in real time and are sequenced to avoid collisions, and they couple directly to production equipment for just-in-time delivery. Power is fed without contact, which avoids the dust of sliding collectors and suits clean production.
