Muratec AS/RS is a range of automated storage and retrieval systems in rack-and-crane, shuttle and gantry robot types, handling pallets, containers, rolls, cases, crates, long items and heavy loads.
Three types are offered: classic rack-and-crane systems, shuttle systems and gantry robot systems. They handle almost any load: pallets, containers, rolls, free-size cases, crates, long items and heavy loads. Beyond storage, the systems transport and sort, deliver to processes in sequence and support goods-to-person picking, under a warehouse management system. Applications named include cold stores, hazardous materials, intermediate storage and multi-storey supply. As usual for engineered systems, no figures are published.
