The Mitsubishi Electric MELFA ASSISTA RV-5AS-D is a 6-axis collaborative robot with a 5 kg rated payload, a 910 mm reach and ±0.03 mm repeatability. It is designed to work alongside operators without safety fencing, moving at up to 250 mm/s in collaborative operation and up to 1,000 mm/s in high-speed operation. The IP54 arm suits assembly, machine tending, inspection and pick-and-place tasks. The arm weighs 32 kg, mounts on the floor or ceiling and runs on the CR800-05VD controller.
