Meridian Laboratory ROTOCON MX, MY and MZ Slip Rings
Meridian Laboratory ROTOCON MX, MY and MZ Slip Rings
ROTOCON M-series connectors transfer electrical power and signals across a rotating interface using Meridian Laboratory’s brushless construction. MX, MY and MZ provide different current and mechanical choices within the end-of-shaft family. They are rotary electrical connectors, not motors, motor drives or network controllers; the exact channel map, current duty and mounting arrangement determine the usable configuration.
Review Summary
Consider the M family when continuous rotation makes an ordinary cable loop unsuitable and the selected connector meets the power, signal and speed requirements together. Compare exact models. A higher-current MZ unit can have a different speed limit and envelope from an MX unit with the same number of contacts, while a custom build needs its own approved specification.
