The Mecademic MCS500 is a compact 4-axis SCARA robot with a 225 mm horizontal reach and a rated payload of 0.5 kg. It repeats to 0.005 mm and completes a 100 mm by 25 mm arch cycle in 0.42 s at rated payload. Vertical travel is 102 mm, and the arm weighs 4.3 kg. The controller is embedded in the base, and the robot can be mounted on a tabletop or upside down.
