maxon GPX Configurable Planetary Gearheads
maxon GPX Configurable Planetary Gearheads
GPX is maxon’s configurable planetary gearhead family with modular stages and application-specific variants. Standard, ceramic, high-power, high-speed, reduced-noise and reduced-backlash choices address different objectives. The family name alone does not define output torque, ratio, backlash or permitted input speed.
Review Summary
Consider GPX when a compact motor/gearhead combination can meet the actual output cycle and mechanical interface. Select the variant and stages together. Reduced backlash, low noise and high-power descriptions are not simultaneous guarantees for every configuration.
