MathWorks Simulink
MathWorks Simulink for Model-Based Design
Simulink is MathWorks’ block-diagram environment for modeling, simulation and Model-Based Design. It supports development workflows that connect system behavior, controllers and tests. Code generation, HIL, physical-domain modeling and requirements workflows extend through separately selected MathWorks products and supported hardware;they are not all included automatically in the base Simulink license.
Review Summary
Consider Simulink when an executable model can become a maintained engineering asset across simulation and implementation. Its value depends on model fidelity, test coverage and a reproducible toolchain. A successful simulation is evidence about the model under its assumptions, not proof that the physical machine or generated controller is correct.
