LMI Gocator 2880

The LMI Gocator 2880 is a dual-camera smart 3D laser line profiler with 1280 points per profile, a field of view of 390 to 1260 mm and a measurement range of 800 mm.
A single-camera profiler loses data where the surface hides the laser line from the camera. The Gocator 2880 places a camera on each side of the laser, so one covers what the other cannot see. With a field of view up to 1.26 m and a measurement range of 800 mm it is sized for large, irregular objects, and LMI names primary log scanning in sawmills as its application. Resolution is modest, 0.375 mm across the line, which suits that scale.
