Fives RoboWash

The Fives RoboWash is a robotic industrial parts washer in which a removable six-axis robot moves parts through pre-wash, high-pressure wash at up to 8,000 PSI, and drying chambers.
Machined engine blocks, cylinder heads and transmission cases must be free of chips and burrs before assembly. RoboWash uses a six-axis robot to present every surface and hole of the part to fixed and spinning nozzles, through separate chambers for pre-wash, high-pressure wash, pressurized drying and low-pressure drying. Pressure reaches 8,000 PSI (550 bar), enough for deburring, which is standard. The robot is removable without dismantling the machine, and any robot rated for severe wet duty can be used. The machine sits on a skid so it can be moved in the plant.
