Fives LPS-70A Linear Parcel Singulator
The Fives LPS-70A is a linear parcel singulator that converts bulk, unsingulated parcel flow into a single-file line using skewed rollers, friction belts, a side-by-side eliminator and recirculation.
Sorters need parcels one at a time, but trucks deliver them in heaps. The LPS-70A solves this without manual work: skewed rollers, friction belts and slides spread the flow, a side-by-side eliminator removes parcels travelling abreast and sends them round again on a recirculation loop, which also absorbs surges. It accepts bulk flow from several infeeds in any orientation and needs less accumulation conveyor than merge systems.
