The Fives GENI-Flex is a modular sorter for extra-large and irregular packages up to 79.4 kg and 2.74 m long, using pop-up belt divert modules.
Five-gallon buckets, tyres and carpet rolls are known as non-conveyables, and they are usually sorted by hand. GENI-Flex handles them: packages up to 79.4 kg and 2.74 m long. At each destination, two high-friction belts made of mining-grade material rise between powered rollers and turn the package onto the takeaway; otherwise the rollers carry it on. Modules arrive pre-wired and pre-assembled with guarding, so commissioning is fast, and takeaways can be powered, parallel or gravity.
