Festo OVEM vacuum generator
The Festo OVEM is a compact electrically switched vacuum generator that reaches a vacuum of up to 93 %. Laval nozzle widths of 0.45 mm, 0.7 mm, 0.95 mm, 1.4 mm and 2.0 mm give suction rates of 6 l/min to 86.5 l/min in the high-vacuum version, and up to 92 l/min in the high-suction-rate version. It is designed to supply and monitor vacuum for suction grippers, with integrated solenoid valves for vacuum on/off and ejector pulse, a filter, a non-return valve, an air-saving function and a vacuum sensor with display. The unit weighs between 302 g and 415 g, runs at 2 bar to 8 bar and 24 V DC, and operates at ambient temperatures from 0 °C to +50 °C. It connects through a 5-pin M12 plug and is offered with IO-Link.
