FANUC Collision Guard is a robot software function that provides high-sensitivity collision detection. It monitors disturbance torque and stops the robot immediately when a collision is detected, during both programmed motion and jog motion. This reduces the risk of damage to the robot, tooling and equipment and helps prevent unplanned downtime.
