EVT VECID Vehicle Identification Tool
VECID adds deep-learning number plate reading and vehicle make and model recognition to EyeVision software, built on TensorFlow with pre-trained networks and support for training custom CNNs.
VECID reads plates where standard OCR struggles with distortion, reflections and over- or underexposure. Through the EyeVision operating system it runs on platforms from single-core ARM processors to current x86 systems under Windows or Linux.
