ElectroCraft’s PMDC portfolio spans DirectPower Plus servo-oriented brush motors and Hansen motors for lighter intermittent duties, alongside separate geared assemblies. These are different configurations. Motor-only torque, geared output torque and a family peak cannot be treated as one common rating.
Review Summary
Consider a brushed PMDC motor when simple commutation, the required torque/speed curve and a realistic brush-service plan fit the machine. Select the actual construction and feedback rather than assuming every PMDC motor has the same continuous duty or service features.
