Comau AURA-170
The Comau AURA-170-2.8 is a 6-axis high-payload collaborative robot with a maximum wrist load of 170 kg and a horizontal reach of 2790 mm, repeatable to ±0.1 mm. A sensitive skin with proximity and contact sensing covers the arm, allowing operators to share the workspace and guide the robot by hand. It moves at 500 mm/s in collaborative mode and up to 2000 mm/s in non-collaborative mode, and its safety functions are TÜV SÜD certified to EN ISO 13849-1:2015. The floor-mounted arm weighs 1615 kg and is used for heavy part handling and assembly alongside workers, notably in automotive production.
