The Berkshire Grey Scoop is a robotic trailer unloader for floor-loaded trailers and containers, with stated uptime above 99% and an operator-to-system ratio of up to 1 to 5.
Unloading floor-loaded trailers is among the hardest manual jobs in logistics: heavy, hot and repetitive. Scoop drives into the trailer and moves the cartons out onto a conveyor. Berkshire Grey states throughput at or above manual unloading, uptime above 99% and that one operator can supervise up to five systems. It handles orderly walls of boxes as well as collapsed and irregular loads.
