The Berkshire Grey Core is a robotic piece-picking system for items up to 6 kg, with a patented adaptive gripper and stated accuracy and uptime above 99%.

Core addresses it with a patented gripper, the SpectrumGripper, that adapts suction to size, weight and texture, and software that picks items it has not seen before. Berkshire Grey states accuracy and uptime above 99% and up to twice human pick-and-release performance, for items from the size of a marble to a bowling ball, up to 6 kg. The system is offered as an add-on to AutoStore and other goods-to-person systems.
