Basler MED ace
The Basler MED ace is a series of area scan cameras for medical technology and life sciences, with resolutions up to 20 MP, frame rates up to 164 fps and USB 3.0 or GigE interfaces.
Device makers in medicine need the same image quality as industry with extra assurances about cleanliness, colour and low light. The MED ace takes Basler's ace platform, with Sony and onsemi global shutter sensors up to 20 megapixels and 164 fps, and adds six MED Feature Sets that bundle functions for those needs. Dust Protection+ covers sealing of the sensor chamber and production in a cleanroom; other sets address colour accuracy, low-light imaging and speed. Interfaces are USB 3.0 or GigE.
