BALYO TUGGY
The BALYO TUGGY is a robotic tugger with a pulling capacity of 7,000 kg and a travel speed of 2 m/s, with automatic hitching and unhitching of compatible trailers.
Tugger trains are the efficient way to supply many stations along a route: one tractor, several trailers. TUGGY automates the tractor. It pulls up to 7,000 kg at 2 m/s and can hitch and unhitch compatible trailers by itself. It is small, 1.7 m long and 0.71 m wide. Navigation is by SLAM with a LiDAR on top, with no reflectors or floor markers.
