AutoStore Black Line Robot B1
The B1 is the Black Line robot from AutoStore, carrying bins inside a cavity in its body and handling bin heights up to 425 mm. Direct-drive motors in each wheel base replace drive belts, giving a top speed of 4.0 m/s and acceleration of 1.4 m/s². Bins are lifted at 1.6 m/s. Instead of pausing to charge, the robot swaps its lithium-ion BattPack for a fresh one at a charging station within 30 seconds, which supports round-the-clock operation. It was designed for the Double/Double Grid and also runs on Single/Double Grid systems.
