ATI Industrial Automation QC-29
The ATI QC-29 is a pneumatic robotic tool changer with a suggested payload limit of 35 kg and static moment capacities of 56.5 Nm in X/Y and 78 Nm in Z. It is designed for automatic exchange of end-of-arm tools on medium-payload robots, using a fail-safe locking mechanism that develops 2900 N of locking force at 5.5 bar. The master plate weighs 0.984 kg and the tool plate 0.671 kg, giving 1.66 kg when coupled, and the coupling repeats to within 0.0152 mm. Six pneumatic ports pass through the changer: two 1/8 NPT and four #10-32, or two G 1/8 and four M5.
