ATI Industrial Automation QC-20
The ATI QC-20 is a pneumatic robotic tool changer with a suggested payload limit of 25 kg and static moment capacities of 56.5 Nm in X/Y and 35 Nm in Z. It is designed for automatic exchange of end-of-arm tools on small and medium robots, using a fail-safe locking mechanism that develops 2300 N of locking force at 5.5 bar. The master plate weighs 0.535 kg and the tool plate 0.318 kg, giving 0.853 kg when coupled, and the coupling repeats to within 0.0152 mm. Twelve M5 or #10-32 pneumatic ports pass through the changer, and the plates can lock from up to 2 mm apart.
