AmbiSort A-Series
The AmbiSort A-Series is a robotic parcel sorting system from Ambi Robotics with bin-fed or conveyor-fed input, four barcode scanners and two quality control zones, sorting to mail sacks or totes.
The A-Series automates the last sort in a parcel network, where small packages are thrown by hand into sacks for delivery routes. A robot arm picks each parcel from a bin or a conveyor, passes it by four barcode scanners and through two quality control zones, and hands it to a gantry that drops it into the right sack. The AI is trained in simulation, which the maker says is 10,000 times faster.
