Addverb SortIE
The Addverb SortIE is a vertical sortation robot with a payload of 10 kg, a speed of up to 3 m/s and a rate of 400 sorts per hour in aisles up to 15 m long.
SortIE automates the put wall, the rack of compartments where picked items are grouped into customer orders. Instead of a person walking along the wall, a carriage takes each item and delivers it to the right compartment, moving at up to 3 m/s along an aisle of up to 15 m. It handles items up to 10 kg at 400 sorts per hour. Because it uses height, it sorts to many destinations on little floor space. It runs from an ordinary 220 V supply.
