ABB Robotics IRB 5500
The ABB IRB 5500 FlexPainter is a paint robot with a 13 kg payload, a 2970 mm reach and a position repeatability of ±0.15 mm. It is an explosion-protected arm for exterior painting of car bodies and other large parts, built with six axes or with a seventh axis for rail travel. The robot can be floor, wall, inverted or tilted mounted, is rated IP66 and runs on the IRC5P paint controller.
