1X NEO

1X NEO is a home humanoid robot 5 ft 6 in tall that weighs 66 lb, lifts 154 lb, carries 55 lb, has hands with 22 degrees of freedom each and runs for 4 hours on a charge.
NEO is designed around the home, not the factory. It is very light at 66 lb, covered in a soft knitted suit and quiet at 22 dB, all of which matter for a machine that moves among people and furniture. Its hands are unusually capable on paper, with 22 degrees of freedom each. The key to understanding NEO is Expert Mode: for tasks the robot cannot yet do alone, a 1X employee supervises it remotely at times the owner schedules, and the robot learns from this. Buyers should weigh that openly, because it means a person may see inside the home through the robot.
