Unitree A2-W robot

The Unitree A2-W is the wheeled version of the A2 industrial quadruped. Unitree lists both versions as "Contact Sales". This review covers its specifications, versions and uses.

Quick Verdict

The A2-W puts 190 mm wheels on the A2. It weighs about 52 kg, moves at up to about 6 m/s and covers about 35 km in more than 3.5 hours without load, or about 15 km carrying 25 kg. Dual batteries are hot-swappable, so a pack can be changed without shutting down. Joints of about 180 N·m let it climb 30 cm stairs and obstacles of 0.5 to 1 m. The base version is IP56 with one LiDAR; the PRO has two LiDARs and core components to IP67. Compared with the legged A2 it is faster and ranges further, with shorter endurance in hours.
