Quick Verdict

The TV1000 comes in two flavours on the same 47 kg arm, which Shibaura calls one of the lightest in its class. The TV1000 is the fast one: 5 kg maximum payload, 9.61 m/s composite speed, a standard cycle of about 0.6 s and ±0.03 mm repeatability. The TV1000H trades speed for strength: 10 kg maximum, 7.46 m/s, about 0.9 s and ±0.04 mm. Both reach 1,090 mm and run on the TS3100 controller.
