Piab piSECURE is a decentralized vacuum ejector for sealed applications with high safety requirements during power or system failure. Its safety function relies on a separate, extra-sealed vacuum non-return valve.

Two versions are offered: without air saving, or with integrated air-saving (ES). Applications include manipulators and overhead cranes handling glass and sheet, devices meeting EN 13155 and ASME B30.20, and robot handling of high-value sealed parts.

Quick Verdict

A focused safety ejector for manual and robotic lifting of sealed sheet materials where a drop is not acceptable.

Design and Operating Principle

When an operator lifts a glass pane with a manipulator, losing vacuum during a power failure could be dangerous. piSECURE's extra-sealed check valve keeps vacuum trapped in the cups.

Decentralized mounting places the ejector close to the cups for fast response, and the ES version turns off air once vacuum is reached.

It also protects high-value robot-handled parts such as shaped car body glass.

Integration and Selection

Use on sealed materials only. Combine with vacuum indication to meet the lifting standard for the complete device.

Choose ES for energy savings during long holds.
