Piab KVG60C Vacuum Gripper product image

The Piab KVG60C is a configurable vacuum gripper built on the KVG60 profile, designed through Piab's online configurator. The profile uses Si32-3 vacuum ejectors or a connection for high-flow vacuum pumps.

Length is defined per millimetre, cups are chosen from almost the full Piab range, and the user sets cup count and spacing. Flow control is selectable per cup: restrictors for sealed materials or piSAVE sense valves for porous or leaking objects. The configurator outputs technical data, drawings, CAD and pricing.

Quick Verdict

A fast way to get an engineered row gripper. The configurator turns a custom tool into a standard purchase with CAD and pricing in minutes.

Design and Operating Principle

Row grippers pick several identical items at once, a common need when top-loading cartons. Building the vacuum generator into the profile keeps the tool compact and response fast.

Per-cup flow control prevents one uncovered or leaking cup from collapsing vacuum for the rest. piSAVE sense valves open when a product is present and close otherwise, ideal for porous items.

The configurator validates choices, removing cups too large for the selected spacing and length.

Integration and Selection

Configure length, cups and spacing to match the product pitch and carton layout. Choose ejectors for decentralized vacuum or connect a high-flow pump.
