PHD Series RF Low Profile Pneumatic Rotary Actuator product image

The PHD Series RF is a compact, low-profile pneumatic rotary actuator in 14, 20 and 25 mm bore sizes. Standard rotation is 180°, infinitely adjustable from 0 to 180°, with torque from 7 to 67 in-lb at 100 psi.

A one-piece hub and piston assembly, built-in angle adjustments, fully adjustable stops and internal urethane shock pads give quiet, repeatable rotation with zero backlash at end of rotation. It is modular with PHD Series SHP slides and Series GRT grippers.

Quick Verdict

A neat rotary module for adding a precise turn to pick-and-place, with zero end backlash and modular PHD mounting.

Design and Operating Principle

A one-piece hub and piston reduce parts and play, contributing to zero backlash at the end positions.

Urethane shock pads decelerate the load quietly, and adjustable stops set precise angles.

Low profile keeps stacked pick-and-place modules compact.

Integration and Selection

Check load inertia and rotation time to choose bore size. Combine with SHP slides and GRT grippers for modular systems.

Set stops for required angles.
