Ocado Porter AMR Review: Specs and Uses of the 1,500 kg Pallet Moving AMR
Updated: 7 days ago

The Ocado Porter is an autonomous mobile robot that picks up and moves pallets and cages. The manufacturer does not publish a price. This review covers its specifications, features and uses.
Quick Verdict
Porter picks open and closed pallets, including CHEP, GMA and EPAL, directly from the floor, even back to back, and an adapter carries up to two cages. It carries 1,500 kg at up to 2 m/s, lifts 280 mm and positions to ±20 mm. Full 360° lidar, PLd safety functions and EN ISO 3691-4 and ANSI B56.5 compliance support mixed traffic. It needs only Wi-Fi, no on-premise server, and works with Chuck under Ocado's fulfillment execution software. Battery capacity and runtime are not published.
