Han's Robot STAR Mobile Manipulator Review: Specs and Uses of the Cobot-on-AMR Mobile Manipulator
Updated: 7 days ago

Han's Robot STAR mounts an Elfin collaborative arm on an autonomous mobile base to pick, place and tend machines across a facility. The manufacturer does not publish a price. This review covers its specifications, features and uses.
Quick Verdict
STAR comes in four sizes. STAR-S pairs E03 or E05 arms with the small HR150 base; STAR-H carries arms up to the E15 on the HR1200 base. Bases reach 1.1 to 1.5 m/s and run more than 6 to 12 hours loaded, charging in about two hours, automatically on most models. Laser SLAM builds maps without site changes, with optional vision fusion, and positioning accuracy is ±0.5 mm. A customizable tray lift stores parts on board. Arm payload and reach are not restated on the page.
