Design and Operating Principle
Energy couplings mount on the upper (robot-side) and lower (tool-side) assemblies of a manual tool changer. When the tool is locked on, the coupling halves meet and the media connect at the same moment as the mechanical interface, so there are no separate plugs or hoses to connect by hand.
SEK is matched to the SHW connector's geometry and passes 12 signals for sensors, valves or electric functions on the tool.
