Design and Operating Principle
Energy couplings mount on the upper (robot-side) and lower (tool-side) assemblies of a manual tool changer. When the tool is locked on, the coupling halves meet and the media connect at the same moment as the mechanical interface, so there are no separate plugs or hoses to connect by hand.
Horizontal M5 push-in fittings let hoses run sideways off the coupling, which keeps the tool compact and avoids tight hose bends above the tool.
