Company History
The company takes its name from the mathematician Joseph Fourier. It started in rehabilitation: the Fourier X1 exoskeleton, unveiled in 2017, helps patients walk, and by 2019 its rehabilitation devices were in hundreds of hospitals in more than ten countries. That year it also began developing a humanoid. In 2020 it acquired Zhuhai RHK Healthcare.
The humanoid work reached the public in 2023, when the GR-1 was shown at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai. The GR-2 followed in September 2024.
